About Dr. Balzer

Background & Philosophy

Dr. Balzer is a board-certified Family Medicine physician and co-founder of Victory Health. She was raised in the Texas and Oklahoma Panhandles, where she developed an early passion for science and nature. Her father was a family physician, her mother was a nurse, and she had many other family members involved in the medical field. This gave her early exposure to learning how to care for others.

Dr. Balzer earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Chemistry, and Master of Science in Biology at West Texas A&M University before receiving her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Kansas City of University of Medicine and Biosciences (KCU). She completed her residency training at Saint Anthony Family Medicine Residency (now SSM) in Oklahoma City in 2015, where she was also able to incorporate her faith with her love of medicine. She has practiced in the Yukon/Mustang area since soon after graduation.

With foundation in osteopathic medicine, Dr. Balzer has a whole-person approach to care, focusing on the physical, emotional, and lifestyle factors that influence health. She is passionate about building lasting relationships with people and considers it an honor to care for multiple generations of families, from newborns to grandparents. Her goal is to partner with each patient to help them achieve their best health in a comfortable, welcoming environment.

At home, Dr. Balzer and her husband, Josh, enjoy spending time with friends, family, and their dogs. She also has multiple hobbies, including reading, crocheting, and spending time relaxing in nature.
